Events at KCCs abroad



Inspired by the popular drama ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines (폭싹 속았수다)’, which is set on Jeju Island, this event celebrates the flavours of Jeju through a special culinary experience featuring its iconic fruit—tangerines. Attendees will enjoy a cooking demonstration of authentic Korean sweets made with tangerines, and explore Jeju’s stunning scenery and cultural charm as a travel destination.


TIME & DATE: 18:00 PM – 19:30 PM (AEST), Wednesday 16th April 2025


VENUE: Korean Cultural Centre Australia (Ground Floor, 255 Elizabeth St, Sydney)


PROGRAM:


🍊 Tangerine Sweets Demonstration & Tasting: Watch a live cooking demonstration by an expert chef, showcasing traditional Korean sweets called Jeonggwa (정과) made with tangerines. Attendees will also have the opportunity to taste these delightful treats.


Note: While we will provide a list of ingredients for tasting on-site, it is the participant’s responsibility to check it beforehand for any food allergies they may have.


🍊 Discover Jeju as a Travel Destination (Presented by Korea Tourism Organization): Learn about Jeju Island’s stunning landscapes and its appeal as a must-visit travel destination. Participants will also receive Jeju travel maps, an information brochure, and exclusive souvenirs.
